Product Description
Not so long ago, I made the long, long journey to a far-away land. On that journey I took a single skein of beautiful yarn. A light and lovely lace grew and grew until I had a shawl just so. In a fit ofromantic inspiration, I named it for the local football team at my destination. Veil of Leithen is an open-work shawl designed to use a single, precious skein of fingering-weight yarn. Both written and charted instructions are provided. The main pattern repeat is quite easily memorized, with just a little concentration required for the final lace border. The shawl is easily made larger or smaller. The sample was made with The Uncommon Thread Merino Fingering (100% superwash merino wool, 437y / 400m per 100g skein)in colourway Lark, 1 skein.
