Weather Cushions

Whatever the weather outside, these easy-to-make Weather Cushions will keep grey days bright, fun and cheery. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cushions are knitted flat (not in the round). The bright rainbow is worked in acrylic DK yarns on a circular needle to make it easier to handle a large number of sts. The fluffy clouds are knitted on single pointed needles in a nylon boucle yarn to make the cuddly texture. One cloud has dangly raindrops, and the other a bolt of yellow lightening. For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
