Weavers Guild Of Boston Interlaced 90

Showcasing the work of over 90 members of the Weavers' Guild of Boston, this book in honor of the guild's 90th year includes guild history, woven works (the bulk of the book), references, and an index. The project ideas cover a full range of levels and equipment, from plain weave to jacquard, and beginner to master. For each chosen weave, designs are provided for 4 or less shafts, 8 shafts, and more than 8 shaft pieces. Each design features a color picture of the project and a draft with yarn choice, set, and finishing included. Fibers used include: cotton, linen, wool, silk, and the newer rayons like Tencel and bamboo. Additionally, the biographical information, dedications, and pictures of weavers celebrate who we are as a diverse group of people and how we connect to each other and our past.
