Product Description
Westside Woolie was oirginally designed for the 10th anniversary of Squam!
This hat begins with making a couple of earflaps, which are then united to the rest of the cast on for the brim. A simple Fair Isle pattern makes a bold geometric statement across the body of the hat and then the crown is worked with a slightly peaked shaped. A small amount of crochet is used to reinforce the brim and earflaps and then decorated with a blanket stitch. This hat can be further adorned with a pom pom or tassel for a little whimsy!
**Yarn **160 yards of Main Color, 50 yards each of 3 different contrast colors. (More of MC may be required if you are doing extra large pom poms or tassels).
