Product Description
Whimbrel is worked from the top down in one piece with basketweave panels on each front and down the center back. A simple knit and purl texture pattern is worked as a horizontal detail towards the bottom of the piece. I put the button on the side that is opposite of traditional, however because a crochet loop is used as the closure, you may simply sew it onto the other front if desired:)
Sample shown with 2” positive ease and knit in Hickory Series by Hidden Valley Farm, shade Natural Gray.
Gauge: 19 sts and 24 rows = 4" in Stockinette Stitch.
