Product Description
This waistcoat is worked flat and seamless, in garter stitch, from the top down. This model is designed to be slightly opened at the front and has a positive ease on the armholes and body so it can be comfortably worn with other layers of clothing. You can make I-cords or apply buttons to close the front. Instructions to create a crochet border are given on the adult sizes. Schematics and row counting charts are given for each size in the pattern.
- Construction: Knitted flat. - Experience level: Advanced Beginner. - Yarn: Super Bulky / Chunky / 14ply weight yarn. - Tension: 11 stitches x 24 rows = 10cm / 4” in garter stitch, with 8mm (US 11) needles. - Yardage: approx. 135-720 meters depending on size. - Needles: - 8mm (US 11) circular needles 60cm-120cm (24”/48”) depending the size you are knitting. - Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases.
