Aran sweaters are great fun to knit, some are very challenging, but they don't have to be. The cables and patterns on these sweaters are all worked on the same rows so it is easy to keep track of your work. Many Aran knitting classes have been taught using this pattern which is a very nice compliment. In fact this was such a popular pattern that knitters asked me for the same sweater but for adult's, so I designed pattern #20 Adult Aran Sweaters.
The sweaters are knit in pieces and sewn together.

I love this pattern. Yankee Knitter patterns are wonderfully written. Through the years I have purchased many of them! Not only did I get the child’s version, I also purchased the adult version. The child’s version is already halfway done for my little granddaughter for Christmas.
