Product Description
Adam's Ribs stitch pattern is completely reversible, with a soft scallop and nice drape - perfect for this blanket-style wrap sweater with cute cap sleeves. Sweater is knit in one piece from side to side, with a few short rows to shape the sleeves.
Sizing: S (M, L, XL). Sweater shown is size M, worn on a 36” dress form.
Gauge: 24 stitches = 5-3/4” and 28 rows = 4-3/4” in pattern stitch using larger needles.
Skills needed: increasing, decreasing, short rows, sewn bind off preferred.
Yarn: Sunday Knits 5 ply (light worsted weight yarn - 137 yds / 125 m per 50g skein) in Eden (merino), Nirvana (merino cashmere), Angelic (merino angora) or Brigadoon (merino tweed): 7 (8, 8, 9) skeins. Shown in Nirvana charcoal. Substitute any worsted-weight yarn that works nicely to gauge: 900 (960, 1100, 1240) yd..
