Antiprism

Antiprism is a garter-stitch shawl originally knit with Kettle Yarn Co.’s wonderful Ombre Set of BFL Twist yarns. The shawl is worked from side to side and features a frame of simple lace filled with short-row wedges of alternating color to show off the combination of shades. The lace border is then picked up and knit along the bottom of the finished shawl, and finally, a binding is worked across the top of the piece. The geometric pattern is enjoyable to knit and makes for a dramatic finished object.

The shawl would also look amazing if you used 2 different 4ply/fingering weight yarns, for example alternating one variegated and one solid-coloured line in the wedges, but would also work well with 4 different colours, or 4 shades of one colour.
