Perfect for color work

Cascade yarn is quality yarn at a great price. I use it for a colorwork sweater called Filligre. I like the design. The yarn is perfect for color work.

Solid yarn, but on the thinner side

I’m a huge fan of the Cascade 220 yarns; it’s my work-horse. My only complaint is that they tend to be on the thinner side of their category. I’m holding two fingering weight strands together (different colours) and it’s barely getting the expected gauge. I’m a neat knitter, but not what I’d call a tight knitter. Webs/Yarn.com always provides great service.

Hello, Thank you so much for your kind words and for being such a loyal fan of Cascade 220 - it really means a lot to us! I’ve just sent you an email as well, so we can take a closer look into the yarn thickness concern with you and check everything properly. While yarn thickness can vary a bit within the same category, it should still fall within the standard range for that weight. If you have any other questions at all in the meantime, please feel free to reach out - we’re always happy to help! Great sale for sweater yarn

I bought enough for a sweater just in case. For the second time, the sale was great. I'm using it for a top down raglan.

This is the first time I've used Cascade 220 fingering. I used it with my standard gauge knitting machine. The cardigan turned out beautifully. The color and the stitches were uniform and I found no knots or imperfections in the yarn. I would highly recommend this yarn.

This yarn looks lustrous and feels smooth and soft, but I had to watch out for split stitches. Also, it seems to have no elasticity or loft at all. In that sense, it feels more like (unbrushed) mohair than wool.

I used this yarn for socks, but was so dissatisfied with the results I only got through half the sock. It split so badly it was almost impossible to use. It also was very thin and had no body. I would not recommend.

I consider myself a experienced knitter, however after few trials and errors, using different needles and needles sizes, the stitch formation this yarn creates stays uneven compared to other 100% wool fingering yarn

I have used Cascade yarns for many years p. It is my “ go to”. I do not like the shipping charges, although I understand why they are there. I will probably order again, but only when I have a big project that I want to do. Unfortunately all of the yarn stores close to me have closed, and being a senior citizen, I don’t like to drive an hour to one and not find what I want.

Very nice yarn, easy to knit with as it does not split. It also feels nice while knitting. I will buy it again.
