Construction Techniques

The Aveline is constructed using a bottom-up, seamless approach worked in the round, which eliminates the need for seaming and creates a smooth, professional finish. The garment begins as one continuous piece knitted in the round from the cast-on edge up to the underarms. At the underarm point, the piece is divided for separate back and front sections, which are then completed using flat knitting techniques. This hybrid construction method combines the efficiency of circular knitting with the shaping flexibility of flat knitting.

Stitches and Pattern Details

The Aveline features two coordinated pattern stitches that work together throughout the design:
