I'm using it for pairing with fingering wool for durability. The swatched piece resulted in the stitch count I was looking for. The colors blended well and the texture came out nice to the touch. Yes, my first time using this technique.
I'm not making socks, but as I'm allergic to wool, this yarn is perfect for my preference for knitting with thin yarn and skinny needles. I enjoy making baby dresses for girls and baby sweaters for boys as presents for newborns. I'm told the clothing wears well. Baby girl parents have communicated that the dresses become tops as their little girl grows. I don’t have any photos on hand, but I have a baby boy sweater in process.
I used this yarn with another lite weight yarn for interesting crocheted baby hats. I thought the look and additional weight of a second yarn would make a cute hat, and it does!
This is nice yarn to knit with. It makes comfortable socks to wear, and they wash well. I have lost track of how many pairs I have made. Probably close to 12 at this point.
Better than I expected. If my first pair holds up well, I get more.
I use a size 0 needle to knit the socks with this yarn. Everyone who gets a pair of these socks love them. The socks wash and are dryer friendly; easy care.
This yarn is great for those who have a reaction to wool, or just don't want to have wool in their socks. It is affordable, easy to knit, easy to wash, and easy to wear.
I liked this yarn. The strand stayed together and rarely separated. The pattern was pleasing. The finished sock was soft and light.
I love the feel of berrocco comfort sock yarn. I’ve made several pairs of socks with this yarn and have several more pairs to make.
I am still knitting the socks so I don’t know how they wear. But they knit up very nicely and the yarn feels nice and soft so I think they will be comfortable. I am using English Garden and it makes a really pretty pattern.
