Berroco Remix Yarn - Nylon Aran

Berroco Remix Yarn is very easy to work with. I use worsted weight, although a friend adores using chunky. On #11 (US) needles and worsted weight, I’m trying a very loose all knit pullover. I design all my sweaters. I’ve used Remix on #9 US as well. The yarn does not split, stays true to the gauge, is soft to the touch, and not scratchy. It keeps its shape and has no knots. It comes already balled up, ready to go. Knitting is my Zen activity, and Berroco Remix is a joy.

This yarn was a pleasure to knit with. The colors are very appealing and work very well together. The yarn was not splitty and the fabric it made had wonderful drape and a soft hand. My sweater is lightweight and will make a perfect three season garment that is easily washed and dried.

Love this yarn! It's very soft, very easy to work with, and a little "slouchy" which is the look I was going for. Although it does contain nylon and acrylic, it has a very natural feel to it. Perfect for the casual summer sweater I'm making.

Have made two afghans from this yarn, now creating a third. Beautiful colors, slightly tweedy, lovely weight.

Remix Chunky is truly more of a worsted to Aran weight yarn. I like the fact that it is made from recycled fibers. I am knitting a sweater as I write this, using a pattern intended for worsted weight yarn. I can’t speak to the wash ability or wearability yet. Likewise, I found the Remix worsted weight closer to a dk weight yarn. A purchase I had made and then returned. Buyer be ware, perform a wrap test with your Remix to determine its suitability and always knit a gauge swatch.

I really liked the idea of a yarn created from various recycled materials. I am not getting great stitch definition using this yarn that was recommended for a Berocco pattern and am disappointed with the results so far. I inadvertently ordered the incorrect weight (Remix rather than Remix Light), had to return and reorder Remix Light. I wish the pattern called for Remix.

I love berroco Remix in every iteration. Works up well, wears well, and washes well.

Love this yarn! It’s reasonably priced and works up nicely. I’ve made a child sweater and a hat so far!

I been using Berroco Remix since it first was introduced. It is comfortable to wear and easy to work with, the colors are good, and it is eco-friendly.
