Great for easy-care garments
I am really a natural fiber snob. However, when I make garments for other people who don't want to hand wash a sweater, I like to use Berroco Vintage. It has enough wool in it to work up well and feel good, but it is easy care, it's not too itchy, and it performs better for the purpose. It has a great color range. I have used the worsted weight for colorful baby blankets, and I am now using the Chunky to make one of those retro Mary Maxim sweaters that were originally designed for 100% acrylic...
