Product Description
Three braids circle around the head in this new take on the traditional cable hat. Most hat patterns require switching from circular to double-pointed needles to make the crown. This hat is knit entirely on straight or circular needles.
The hat is sized for a woman’s head but can easily be adjusted for other head circumferences by knitting fewer or more repeats.
The hat is suitable for any worsted weight yarn. 250-275 yards are required. Instructions for an optional pom-pom are included.
Equipment needed:
US Size 8 (Metric 5) knitting needles cable needle yarn needle 7 stitch markers
Knitters making this hat should be familiar with cables, kitchener stitch, provisional cast-on and short rows.
