Product Description
Cachou (a little candy used to decorate sweets) is a delicious springtime cowl knit in a simple lace pattern with your choice of either rolled or scalloped edges. The pattern is written for two weights of yarn, Aran or worsted weight and fingering weight, and comes in three sizes: a standard cowl, an infinity scarf that can be worn draped or wrapped once around the neck, and an even longer infinity scarf that can be worn draped, wrapped once for a loose, lacey cowl, or wrapped twice for a frothy confection. This is a quick knit – all versions of the cowl but the Large Aran weight version take just one skein of yarn – and it is lovely in variegated hues.
Small (Medium, Large) = approx. 22.5 (41.5, 54.5)”/ 57 (106, 139) cm around and 7 (8, 9.25)”/ 18 (20.5, 23.5) cm in height
Samples knit with Tanis Fiber Arts Green Label Aran Weight (100% Merino) or Tanis Fiber Arts Blue Label Fingering Weight (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon), an alternative yarn is shown below.
