It’s cheap and cheerful, and the color selection is pretty fantastic. The yarn itself is strong and the balls I used had no knots or joins. It’s not the softest, but it’s also notably easy to work with.
Love this yarn and the fact that there are so many colors.
Cascade Pacific is a great yarn for a blanket. Soft and machine washable. Using it for my grandson’s graduation from high school.
Above comment. Machine washable and dryable.
Received the yarn I ordered.
Easy to order and convenient and efficient transaction!
Great yarn for baby blankets.
I should have chosen something else because it was not what I needed for my project. I am not good at knowing what to pick out just by a description, so since I could not touch it, I goofed. I mostly bought it because I needed lavendar and there was not a good selection of that color.
Easy to work with and color true to photo online.
For a wool-acrylic blend, it's nice to work with, and the tones and softness are great. Very rich colors. I used it for a colorwork project--hats for friends going to a hockey game--since the guage was the exact same as what the pattern called for, and it worked okay but wasn't perfect since the yarn strands don't "catch" each other well given how smooth the yarn from the synthetic, and it stretches vertically. I had to alter the pattern so it the hats weren't way too tall when finished. This is also much drapier than other 50-50 blends I've used. Will likely use it again for one-color or simpler items, however, especially for kids or people really sensitive to wool, as it knits well and also is easy to wash.
