Cascade Sarasota is a cotton and acrylic blend that's incredibly soft! Its speckled colorways create an enchanting finished fabric that's a cool and breathable choice for the warmer months, and its cable-plied construction gives it strength and bounce.

Knits up well. Not splitty. Nice color and drape. Would purchase again.
This is my favorite cotton yarn to work with, and I hate most cotton yarns. There is a slight stiffness to this yarn that makes it hold up well to intricate stitch patterns. It is not overly soft, nor will it split easily or dissolve in your hands if it has to be frogged. It doesn’t have a lot of drape, nor does it have too much bounce. I used it many times for baby items that must hold up to frequent washing.
I wish it came in more colors. I would buy them all.
I love this yarn. I am knitting a baby blanket, using the Purl Soho “loop the loop” pattern, in the white swan color. Unlike a lot of cotton yarns, this yarn is soft, yet stands up to complex stitch patterns. It has heft, and never splits. Cotton yarns are not my favorite thing to work with, but Sarasota is the exception. I have used it in different weights and colors and I would recommend it to anyone making children’s clothing.

Easy to knit with, looks great.
This yarn is really nice. I made a Tunisian crochet sweater out of it. Half the time I was able to find the center pull really easily, but on other skeins, I had to re-roll the whole thing into a ball before I could work with it. But the color was really consistent and it's a super comfortable texture and drapes great!
Not the highest quality yarn, but good value - lots of yardage. This cotton/ acrylic mix is great for a beginner or for an everyday project.
I just reviewed this on the previous screen
