The wrap shown combines 4 skeins of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (229 yards/210 meters per skein) in Color 599 with 5 skeins of Rowan Softyak DK (148 yards/135 meters per skein) in Color 250, held together.

Needles required: US 8 (5mm) needles for DK-weight gauge, or US 10½ (6.5mm) needles for heavy worsted-weight gauge, sized to obtain proper gauge. A US G/6 (4mm) crochet hook is needed for the provisional cast-on.

Additional notions include: 5 yards (5 meters) of smooth DK-weight yarn for the provisional cast-on, 2 locking markers, a darning needle for finishing, and blocking wires and/or T-pins for setting the fabric.

Gauge Information

Gauge is measured in the eyelet stitch after blocking. For DK-weight yarn, the target gauge is approximately 13 stitches over 4 inches (10 centimeters).
