What Is Being Made
This is a knitted cozy designed to insulate a standard hot water bottle, measuring approximately 17 inches (43 centimeters) around and 11 inches (28 centimeters) long to the base of the neck. Techniques Used
The hot water bottle cozy employs several intermediate knitting techniques. The project begins with a ribbed flap worked flat using circular needles, establishing the foundational structure. Stitches are then cast on and joined in the round to transition from flat to circular knitting.
