Craft and Technique Overview

This is a beginner-friendly knitting project that works up quickly as a weekend knit. The tablet cases are constructed using straightforward knitting methods: the main body is knitted flat on straight needles, then seamed together to create a three-dimensional protective sleeve. The design includes a separate flap section that folds over the top of the tablet and is secured with a button. The pattern offers two distinct design options, each using different stitch patterns to create textural interest and structural support.

Stitches Used

Materials and Yarn

The pattern calls for Deramores Studio Chunky yarn, a substantial weight yarn that provides excellent cushioning properties. Depending on the design chosen, you will need:
