Product Description
I love a cozy, lofty shawl. Something big and soft and airy than can be tossed on or off as temperature dictates.
Edradour was my travel project for my trip to Scotland this spring - and it was the perfect travel companion! The pattern is much simpler than it looks, and was great for picking up and putting down, knitting in pubs and working on while talking to friends. It’s fast and satisfying and intuitive, and just a little bit addictive.
Named for the Edradour distillery in Scotland, which is committed to keeping authentic small scale production alive today.
To create the shawl, I worked the yarn on #8 needles for a light, airy fabric. It’s soothing, easy knitting with soft, gorgeous yarn. This will be my go-to wrap for summer, in this gorgeous pale blue color, with an acid greeny-yellow accent. For Fall, I’ve already begun a more wintry one in a deep green, with a little gray accent. Because I need two of these.
Shown in Jill Draper Makes Stuff Mohonk. A substitute yarn is shown below.
