Product Description
The Eira Cardigan is features a cropped length, it’s knitted by starting at the back from the top down to the base of the armholes. Then, both fronts are picked up and knitted separately to the armhole, and then the front and back are joined and knitted in flat down to the hem. Pick up and knit for the sleeves, then pick up and knit for the front bands and the neckband.
Gauge
-One strand of fingering weight mohair with 5 mm (US 8) needle :
19 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking
-Two strands of fingering weight yarn held together with 4 mm (US 6) needle :
24 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in twisted rib after blocking
Recommended ease : 0~30cm/0~12”
Other Materials:
Stitch markers, stitch holder cord or waste yarn. 4 or more buttons with a diameter of 18 mm.
