Product Description
Emmi is a casual hat, worked in the round from the folded brim to the top. Broken rib stitch is used for the entire body of the hat with decreases worked into pattern to keep them as invisible as possible. An optional pompom (to use up the very last bit of the skein) is worked last. Both the RS and the WS of the hat are very beautiful - weaving in the ends carefully, as invisibly as possible, and maybe using a detachable pompom will offer you the option to wear this hat WS out too.
Yarn Worsted weight yarn, approximately 206 yds (188 m) Note: Yardage includes optional pompom.
Gauge 21 sts x 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in pattern stitch on larger needle after blocking.
Finished measurements Circumference (unstretched): 18” (46 cm) Height (without pompom): 9” (23 cm)
The blue version in the photos is made from Malabrigo Rios but the yarn can be substituted for any worsted weight yarn.
