I love how well the Hayfield DK acrylic yarn works in my electric I cord machine. The DK is perfect in making a good sized and strong I cord. I used the Hayfield DK I cord for a crocheted laundry basket because it is a strong cord which gave me a very solid laundry basket. It is perfect! The footprint is smaller than the plastic or wicker baskets I’ve used in the past.
I'm using it for a hat with blue and white yarn. It was very easy to work with, and the hat knitted up easily. It feels good.
I used 5 colors of this yarn to make 72 pin loom squares into toddler blanket. Perfect yarn for this kind of project. Bright and vibrant colors, yarn that has a good twist and hold as up to repeated contact with itself as the weaving process was completed. In use it will be easy to clean in the washing machine and dryer. And oh, by the way - my great granddaughter loves the bright colors!
I love this yarn for the feel and the rich color. Even tho it wasn’t the color I wanted I just couldn’t return it because it’s so awesome. I’ll use it on another project!
