Product Description
This pattern includes instructions for a pretty cushion approximately 12x13 inches, matching tea cosy and egg cosy. Made from Rowan Hand knit Cotton DK worked double to give a nice chunky feel. The pattern is suitable for anyone with some experience of hand knitting and includes instructions for a textured pattern and some pretty roses knitted to decorate the finished items. You will need to be able to follow a chart for the heart shaped pattern and be able to do some basic sewing.
The whole project uses about 8 x 50g balls of yarn.
The gauge for this yarn when knitted single on 4mm needle is 19-20 sts knitted over 28 rows in stocking stitch to give a 10cm square.
The gauge when knitted double on 6mm needles as in the pattern is 14 sts over 20 rows in stocking stitch to give a 10cm square
