Knee High Buttoned Socks

Do you like knitted socks, but you hate working with 5 needles? The good news are - you can crochet them! A pair of crocheted socks will be a wonderful gift for yourself and your loved ones! These will be perfect as boot socks too!

Size:  You can make them in any size as the length of the foot part is very easy adjustable. The cuff part is written for three sizes S, M and L.

Materials:

• 100-150g or 450-650yds of any sport weight yarn or sock yarn. A suggested yarn is below.
• crochet hook 3.5mm (E), or size needed to obtain gauge
• 12 small buttons (approx.. 15mm or 18mm)
• tapestry needle

Stitches and abbreviations:

• st(s) – stitch(es)
• ch – chain stitch
• dc – double crochet
• sc – single crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• sp – space
• RS – right side
• WS – wrong side
