My son fell in love with the scarf I had just finished, and he actually asked for one made of the same yarn. That was so unusual. The yarn was Koigu KPPPM. I like the drape and the way it felt. He said it was softer than other woolen scarves that I had made for him. He wanted a blue colorway. I will have to get my son to show me how to do that.
I've used many skeins of this yarn and find the colors and weight perfect to knit my favorite Koigu Beret pattern. The pattern calls for beads and the yarn accepts the beads perfectly. I also use the Koigu KPPPM for knitting socks.
Koigu has always been a favorite yarn of mine, especially for providing accents to solid colored knit projects. I’ve used it for pockets previously and I’m using this yarn for accents pop of contrast color on a pair of socks. It’s very good quality and the color is just dreamy.
Beautiful colors and beautiful to knit with. The twist of the yarn makes it very easy and enjoyable to knit with, and produces a beautiful fabric. I'm making a scarf with alternating lace and garter stitch panels and it's beautiful in this yarn.
I use Koigu—many color ways—in a warp, often with handspun as weft. Koigu yarns are strong and reliable. The colors are a treat and my work has found its way into the homes of many.
A truly lovely yarn; smooth and the colors are fantastic. It doesn’t pool at all like some multicolored yarns do. Very soft and nice next to the skin!
Love the colors and the quality of Koigu Kpppm. Excellent for weaving, enjoy combining related colors in one woven item such as a shawl or scarf.
I have been weaving with Koigu for a very long time. The color and texture—it's very soft but also strong. I have already written reviews but...
I have used this yarn before and specifically ordered it. Easy to work with, saturated colors, soft to the touch and I am sure it will wear well.
