Techniques Used

This cowl is constructed using several advanced knitting techniques that work together to create a sophisticated finished garment:

• Seamless construction: The cowl is worked in the round on a circular needle, eliminating the need for seaming and creating a continuous, polished garment with no visible joins.
• Bottom-up construction: The cowl is cast on and worked upward from the base, allowing for easy adjustments to length and straightforward pattern progression.
• Cable work: Decorative cable crossings are incorporated into the brioche rib pattern, adding textural depth and visual complexity to the design. The cables are worked according to a charted pattern using cable needles to create the signature twisted stitches.
• Two-color brioche ribbing: This advanced technique alternates between two yarn colors throughout the pattern, creating a reversible, elastic fabric with excellent drape and recovery. The brioche rib uses yarn overs and slipped stitches to build height and texture without excessive bulk.

Stitches Used
