This interesting yet simple piece is created with a combination of purl garter stitch and stockinette stitch, then finished with a crocheted border at the hem. A hardy blend of breathable virgin wool and hemp, Slow Wool Canapa from Lana Grossa is an excellent choice for cooler-weather garments. Adding hemp to the super-soft merino allows the wool to breathe and provides excellent stitch definition. The purl garter motif is in chart form only.
