Lux Buttoned Socks

Do you like knitted socks, but you hate working with 5 needles? The good news are - you can crochet them! A pair of crocheted socks will be a wonderful gift for yourself and your loved ones! These will be perfect as boot socks too!

Size: You can make them in any size as the length of the foot part is easily adjustable. The cuff part is written for two sizes S/M & L.

Materials:

• 100-150g or 450-650yards of sport weight yarn or sock yarn (for sample I used 100% merino wool yarn) in main color. A suggested yarn is below
• small amount of contrasting color (white/ecru) – sport weight/lace weight
• crochet hook 3.5mm (E), or size needed to obtain gauge
• 4 small buttons
• tapestry needle
• stitch markers (optional)

Stitches & abbreviations:

• st(s) – stitch(es)
• ch – chain stitch
• dc – double crochet
• sc – single crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• sp – space
• RS – right side
• WS – wrong side
