Love everything about malabrigo!!
This is my first choice. In all the years Ive crafted with Malabrigos this yarn never disappoints. Great feel while making garments. Colorways beautiful. Consistent top quality. Amazing drape holding its shape for many years.
I use this yarn quite a bit for making sweaters for little children. I am currently using it for the Knitting for Olive sweater, which has an all over lace pattern, calling for using one strand of mohair and one strand of fingering weight yarn. I find the Arroyo yarn to be a suitable, machine washable substitute. The colors are glorious and have an almost metallic sheen that makes the lace pattern a true masterpiece. I particularly love the ochre and sunset colors that glow like autumn leaves...
Beautiful yarn! It’s a pleasure to knit with!
The colors and sheen of this Malabrigo Arroyo paired with the softness and drape of these two make for a stunning combination. I love both sides of this N. Marchant brioche pattern, so I’ll have to make sure the cardigan I’m making is reversible!
One of my favorite yarns to work with, it's so soft and all of the colors are beautiful.
I love all Malabrigo yarns. Sometimes I'll buy something else for a project, not be happy with it, and go back & buy Malabrigo instead.
I love Malabrigo yarns, period. The feel of the yarn, the way a knitted item drapes and, omigod, the colors! This one is pure wool, so I was taken aback as I’ve been knitting lately with acrylic blends and this doesn’t have quite the elasticity of a blend, but….if I could only knit with one yarn for the rest of my life, I’d be very happy to go with Arroyo (and as I’ve progressed on my project, the elasticity— specifically on the ribbing — is just fine!).
This yarn is luscious! I made fingerless mittens and they are so soft.
Mal Arroyo is my favorite DK yarn. Gorgeous colors, easy to handle, soft feel in a project. Excellent and speedy service from WEBS. If my LYS doesn’t have what I want, I go here.
