I use this yarn quite a bit for making sweaters for little children. I am currently using it for the Knitting for Olive sweater, which has an all over lace pattern, calling for using one strand of mohair and one strand of fingering weight yarn. I find the Arroyo yarn to be a suitable, machine washable substitute. The colors are glorious and have an almost metallic sheen that makes the lace pattern a true masterpiece. I particularly love the ochre and sunset colors that glow like autumn leaves...

Soft and durable yarn for sweaters
I'm using it for sweaters. I have many finished objects in this yarn, too many to count. It is soft and good drape, wears well, doesn't pill. It still looks like new.

This is my first choice. In all the years Ive crafted with Malabrigos this yarn never disappoints. Great feel while making garments. Colorways beautiful. Consistent top quality. Amazing drape holding its shape for many years.
Great yarn for easy knitting
I'm using it for a slip stitch triangle scarf. I wanted sport weight, and I loved the colorway. It is great on the hands, easy to knit, and doesn't split up.

This is a lovely yarn, perfect for knitting children’s clothing. I recently used it to make the Little Nydia sweater pattern from Vanessa Smith and the result is a true masterpiece. The Sunset color is glorious, and the yarn is soft yet sturdy enough to hold up to an intricate stitch pattern. I also used it to make the Sunday balaclava from Petite Knit.
