Gorgeous fiber

By Ellen

from Kansas

Pros

  • Beautiful Colors
  • Easy To Spin
  • Super Soft Fiber

Cons

  • None

Best Uses

  • Spinning Any Yarn

Spun one 4-oz. braid of Piedras colorway and knitted a triangular scarf. It's so pretty and the fiber is next-to-skin soft on my extra-sensitive skin. It's priced affordably and Malabrigo's colors are gorgeous. This is easy to spin and beautiful. What more could I ask?!

Wonderful color!

By Lorie

from Ottawa

I am felting-I find the touch, colors and smoothness to be superb. I love how the colors come through the entire thickness of the roving-no white patches.
Excellent!

Pros

Cons

  • Color Not Saturated
  • Some Small Felting

Best Uses

  • Wraps

Very affordably priced for Merino fiber, that comes in many lovely color ways. Makes for some very soft, squishee yarn. My only gripe is that it isn't dyed all the way through-those lovely colors look muted once spun up.

Delicious colors

Pros

Cons

Spun up Zazamora into a beautiful two ply yarn. Had to get it on the needles right away. Knitting it up into a lovely linen stitch wrap that is showing off the color transitions beautifully. The colors are rich and complex and they blend from purple to green to blue with many interesting tonal variations. Fabulous fiber. Would definitely buy again.

      Wish I could love it...

I fell in love with the color Cereza due to the deep rich reds. Unfortunately those deep, rich colors are only on the surface. For the most part the predominant color is a medium Rose, which is nice but not really what I thought I was getting. It is soft and spins easily even by a beginner like myself.

Very nice fiber for an excellent price

          By Donna

          from Princeton, Mass

This fiber is very nicely prepared. No felted bits and beautifully dyed. So so soft. I struggle spinning pure merino but that a personal issue and no reflection on this fiber ..... this could easily make me change my mind about merino.
