This yarn has a rich color and a beautiful sheen. I’m knitting on size 8 needles and it creates an open, but not shear fabric. Mainly very smooth and soft with some rough wiry bits here and there.

Malabrigo Susurro is an amazingly soft and light blend of silk, Merino wool, and linen, making it a quintessential summertime yarn. This single-ply sport to DK weight yarn has fantastic drape and shine, and the linen takes the dye differently than the wool and silk, adding even more depth and dimension to the stunning hand-dyed colorways Malabrigo is known for. Think lightweight sweaters, airy tanks, and lacy shawls you’ll want to wear all summer long! Malabrigo Susurro is produced in dye lots of 5. Any order for more than 5 skeins will be of mixed dye lots. Some colors do not contain any dye lots. Please Note: some hanks have incorrect gauge information listed on the tag. The correct gauge is 5.25-7 sts = 1" on US 4-7.
Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:
- Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
- When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

Malabrigo Susurro yarn is wonderful! The colors are rich and positively glow in the sunshine. This is the second time I’ve used it and am just wow’s by the ease of knitting and the resulting fabric, which is lightweight and drapey. I am already planning another sweater with it.
