You'll love the incredible softness and gorgeous hand-dyed colors of Manos del Uruguay Marina. This single ply, 100% superwash merino wool, lace weight yarn comes in an exquisite range of tonal and variegated colors that are rich and saturated. Perfect for luxurious, lacy shawls, each hank of Marina has a fantastic 874 yards!

No two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dye lots. Colors may vary greatly. We recommend buying enough yarn to complete a project. If there is great difference between skeins, we recommend working two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect. Made in Uruguay

Soft, light, and beautiful

Comments about true Marina:

I used one skein of this beautiful yarn to make a triangular shawl (a modified version of the Julian shawl), and even unwashed, everyone wants it - and not just because it is February. Just for fun, I put it through a pretty small ring: there was some huffing and puffing involved at the point, but it made it through! I make projects a child at a time - I can definitely imagine revisiting this yarn to make another shawl for you, and you, and you...
