Product Description
Originally designed as for the October installment of the Yarnover Truck Yarn Club, Naranj (the Arabic word that gave rise to our orange) is a shawl-cowl hybrid designed with autumn in mind. Constructed like a semi-circular shawl but worked mostly in the round, Naraj appears to be a shawlette bunched around the neck except without ends to come untied. Naraj utilizes a simple chevron lace pattern with interspersed bands of garter stitch to show off the colors in a stunning colorway of Space Cadet yarn. Subtle points grow out of the chevron pattern to finish the piece off. Naraj is a great pattern for that special skein of fingering weight yarn you’ve been dying to use – simple, quick, and perfect for warding off the autumnal chill.
The sample is knit with Space Cadet Yarn Aurora (70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon), an alternative yarn is shown below.
