This engaging shawl design uses traditional pi shaping combined with short row striping to create an accessory with incredible drape and wearability.
Yarn: Approx 87 yards/20grams each of 13 colors of fingering weight yarn. Shown in Forbidden Fiber Co. Fortitude - The 13 Days of Halloween mini set.
Size: One size. 73 inch wingspan, 28 inch depth.
Needles: US size 5/3.75mm 24 inch or longer circulars. (This pattern is worked back and forth, a circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches)
Notions: Scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 20 stitches by 32 rows is 4 inches in stockinette on US 5s/3.75mm needles. Gauge is not critical for this project.
