I've used this yarn for an Irish knit sweater for my neice (who will outgrow it in no time, lol) and an Afghan. It had excellent stitch definition. I like that it's machine washable and inexpensive. It's great for large projects that would be too expensive and difficult to hand wash if I'd used wool. A good work horse, inexpensive yarn.
I like the price. I'm using it for a blanket. I was disappointed that the yarn didn’t always have a consistent weight. Some I couldn’t use because it was almost the weight for a baby item. I set it aside.
I have used this yarn for several years and it works beautiful and everyone always ask me what kind of yarn I have used . They say the yarn is so soft and yet it seems to impress everyone who checks my articles that I knit. That is the only yarn I use. Hope they never stop making paintbox simply aran yarn. Linda

My experience was very good as far as packaging and shipping. The yarn looked pristine because it came in a sturdy box that was the correct size for the items ordered. Although I haven't started a project with my yarn from Webs, it has a beautiful feel and the colors were true to what was on their website. I only purchase Paintbox Aran yarn. It is soft to the touch and smooth. I make baby blankets that I donate to those in need and this yarn is perfect for the little one.
Paintbox Simply Aran yarn is by far my favorite yarn. It's a nice thickness, doesn't come apart, feels nice, good price. I'm using up other yarns so I can concentrate on only Paintbox.
These are beautiful yarns to work with, especially for afghans. I love all the colors that they offer; however, they are often out of stock. Being unable to pay for all the yarn I need at one time usually entails hating to pay more for shipping.
