Paintbox Simply Chunky is my go-to yarn for blankets and scarves. There is such a great range of colors, the items I have made with it have held up through several washings, and they have stayed soft and squishy!! It is also priced reasonably - I love this yarn!!

I ordered this yarn in three colors to make a crocheted afghan for my granddaughter. I used a shell stitch pattern. I’m pleased with how it came out. It will be a nice warm layer for her bed. I liked the yarn weight. Out of the 15 skeins I bought only two had tied off knots that were in the skein. I was able to work around them.

I made a baby blanket with this yarn. The colors were beautiful and the yarn was easy to work with but I cannot comment on how washable it is.

Although I don't love knitting with acrylic, this yard was fine to use with great big needles. Everyone at WEBS treated me well with my repeated needs to re-order more and more skeins for the pattern I was using.
