Product Description
Passaggio in Italian means "passage." In vocal music, the passaggio refers to an area in the voice where a register change occurs, and singers learn to negotiate those notes to make the transition as smooth as possible.
The Passaggio shawl is worked in a way that seamlessly transitions from one area to the next. It's knit in 3 connected parts, and results in a full-size, seamless, trapezoid shawl that is a bit of a puzzle to tell which direction(s) it was knit from. A few sts require grafting via Kitchener Stitch, but a 3-needle bind off can be substituted.
The garter stitch makes for a relaxing project, while the eyelet stripes and multidirectional construction keep things fun.
