I have used Encore worsted since 2011. Love it. Washes and wears very well.
Plymouth Encore acrylic/wool yarn is really easy to knit with, washes and dries well, and wears like iron. It is great for blankets or lap robes, with a large variety of colors from which to choose. The price is easy on the budget too. Just a very good buy.
This is really a great yarn for blankets. It's easy to work with and comes in many colors. It washes well and looks great for years and years. My 3 youngest grand-daughters all asked for blankets this year,; and I am busy knitting them with Plymouth Encore!
Like this yarn!
The yarn was rough and scratchy and not at all suitable for the infants for whom I plan to make elf hats.
A little heavier than I expected. But the project is a scarf so it will just be a little warmer.
Thru experience I like this yarn. Knits up well and is washable. I use delicate cycle in the washer and 15mins in the dryer then lay the garment flat to finish dying. Ideal for me - not too much work.
It did take longer than expected to be delivered. I'm only an hour away from Northhampton MA, but for some reason it ended up in Kansas City for awhile. Just thought that I should let you know.
I love the quality of this all-purpose yarn and the business-client relationship is first class. Thank you.
Wonderful combination for prayer shawls.
