Great merino yarn at a great price. Very, very soft so it's perfect for hats, scarves, mittens, etc. Great range of colors, and great stitch definition too. Only negative comment is that the yarn did not feel as "thick" as a worsted weight, and my hats all knit up a little on the thin side.

I'm knitting my son a school jumper with this yarn. It's absolutely fine for this purpose; although I had envisaged something more 'wooly'. But this is superwash, and I suspect that might be the compromise one has to make with such yarns. Anyway, it knits quickly and fairly easily. Minor issues I have with it (and this might be due to my relative inexperience as a knitter) is that it splits fairly easily if I'm not paying attention to my knitting. The other thing is that it's incredibly dull to knit (I prefer more interesting yarns and colours; this is navy blue, pretty boring). Overall though it's pretty much spot on for a school jumper. It's yet to undergo a wear/wash test, so we'll see.

I needed just a few skeins to finish off a large crocheted afghan and colors matched perfectly. I love the feel and weight of this yarn, it's a real plus that it is washable. And Webs offered a quantity discount that was very nice.

Comments about 14.99 Select Worsted Merino Superwash:

This is my go-to yarn when it has to be washable. Stitch definition is amazing, absolutely flawless. It washes well and even handles the dryer just fine. It is so soft on my brother's bald head that he can't believe his hats are made of wool. He loves how warm they are compared to the store bought hats he used to buy. I buy more of this yarn than any other because I use it for everything, even baby blankets.

Comments about 14.99 Select Worsted Merino Superwash:

The only concern is that when I make a mistake in my knitting (and I am a perfectionist, sigh) this yarn occasionally splits. Otherwise it is soft, easy to use, has a nice even look when finished, and the red I bought is just a lovely, clean color.

Beautiful yarn! I've knitted two-thirds of a sweater so far. There has been no pilling or shedding, even with unravels to fix mistakes. I've ordered yarn for two more sweaters because I like it so much.

My granddaughter wanted a sweater that was "very soft and not scratchy" so I am making her one with this beautiful yarn. I know she will be as pleased as I am. Being washable makes it perfect. Good price, too.
