Product Description
There's something festive and cheery about this knit hat. Candlestick-like motifs appear as the ribbed brim blends into the lace stitch pattern.
The unique lace stitch continues uninterrupted around the hat and gathers nicely with decreases to an 8-point motif at the top.
The hat is knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. You can knit the unfolded brim version, shown here. Also included are the instructions for a warmer version with a folded-over ribbed brim. Both hats knit up nicely using worsted-weight yarn, have a slightly slouchy fit, and only require one hank or two balls of yarn.
The lace portion, including crown shaping, is charted and written out, so you can follow your preference.
