Princess and The Pea is a triangular-ish shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. The pattern is worked on the both wrong and right sides, but it is easy enough to memorize and knit. Because of the shape, this shawl is very easy to wear and stay put on the shoulder. Pattern includes charts and written directions. If you would like to add beads to your shawl, instructions are included as to where to place the beads.
Suggested yarn and yardage needed: Any sock yarn (see table for yardage needed). I used Forever Sock Rendezvous 75% merino superwash/25% nylon. For Extra Small sample I used Pear colorway 1 skein (100g, 460 yards). For Medium size sample I used Princess colorway 2 skeins (200 g, 920 yards) with about 15 gram left.
Finished Sizes (in blocking board): Extra Small: 112 cm (44") across top edge, 51 cm
