What you'll need
Product Description
Saturnalia is knit in the round on the bias, yielding a 7.5"/19cm wide scarf from a 24"/60cm circular needle. The doubled fabric and fine, springy, lofty yarn provide surprising warmth for the weight, while keeping the wrong side hidden from view. This infinity scarf uses a simple yet unusual technique that gives almost invisible increases without leaving a tighter increase edge. Saturnalia starts with a provisional cast on that is grafted to the end stitches using Kitchener stitch for a completely seamless look. Pattern includes instructions for using a regular cast on and seaming the ends, if you prefer not to graft the ends together. Saturnalia is designed to go twice around the neck; length is adjustable. Includes instructions for sock/4ply and sport weight. Yarn requirements: for 4ply/sock weight: 350 yds/320m Colour A; 420 yds/384m Colour B; for sport weight: 405 yds/370m Colour A; 440 yds/402m Colour B.
