Construction Techniques

Lucina employs a sophisticated combination of knitting techniques to achieve its elegant silhouette. The garment is primarily worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a knit hem that establishes a polished foundation. The body is shaped at the sides using invisible increases, which create seamless shaping while maintaining the integrity of the stockinette stitch pattern. The armholes and neckline are shaped using simple decreases and binding off stitches for clean, structured edges.

The shoulders are seamed together using the 3-Needle Bind Off Method, a technique that creates strong, neat shoulder seams while the garment is still on the needles.
