SweetGeorgia Polwarth + Silk spinning fiber is a decadent blend of 85% super-soft Polwarth wool and 15% tussah silk for shimmer. The Polwarth sheep is a mix of 75% Merino (for softness) and 25% Lincoln (longer staple length) and a must-spin in your repertoire! Polwarth is wonderful for felting, so be sure to treat this fibre gently if you don't want to felt it! Polwarth + Silk comes in 100-gram braids and is hand-dyed in Canada using professional acid dyes.
Hand-dyed fibers have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from braid to braid. There may be differences between pictures shown and the fibers you receive.
