Product Description
Tippi toppi cowl is a casual accessory designed to match the Tippi toppi hat and the Tiree pullover.
The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up and starts with a provisional cast on. You will first work the lace patterned body of the cowl, then the upper ribbing, followed by a 3-needle bind-off. Last step is to work the lower ribbing to match. The delicate lace pattern worked in a rather thick yarn combined with the doubled ribbing results in a super cute, sportive yet cozy look.
Original yarn: 2 skeins of Nature’s Luxury ON STAGE - SHORT STORIES 50% wool, 30% silk, 20% camel [219 yards (200 m)/100g]; shown in color Murmur of Bees
Gauge: 20 sts x 31 rounds = 4" (10 cm) square in lace pattern on US 6 (4 mm) needles after blocking.
