Product Description
Don't believe me? Just SWATCH....This textured, 3 color, crescent shaped shawl is worked from the top-down with a modified garter tab cast on that eases that “point” that many crescent shawls develop, and gives you a beautiful eyelet edge. Garter stitch sections make for mindless knitting while garter stripes (worked with short rows) and a lace section keep things colorful and fun.
It’s a great way to add some color to your winter wardrobe, and you can use up a few skeins of sport or fingering weight, plus some partial skeins of the CCs. Materials: 580 yards of the MC, 115 yards of CC1, and 330 yards of CC2.
Note that you can easily work this up in fingeringweight yarn to a tighter gauge--you will just end up with a smaller shawl.
